ok, can someone like post a full list of sprites/effects. or at least posta link to a site with that[and dont even think about suggesting hammer] it will really help the scriptors here.especially the new ones. no model lists or things that crash though.[we must set a good example for the little ones]

Hammer is where you find all the sprites D:
it's even better than a simple list, due you can see the sprite + its name :O

Or you could use GCFscape and view all the materials in the "source materials.gcf"

Then you can view the files contained in the .gcf's of this folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps
"source materials.cfg" has the hl2dm textures/materials/sprites
