Politics?

Post by SuperNovaX »

So what's your views on politics? Do you like politics? Do you hate politics? Do you honestly careless about politics?

Here are my views on politics,
Because of recent events I am starting to find a fascination with politics. I used to hate talking about politics. But now that I am truly seeing how important the politics are. The more involved you are with politics, the better.

Although I do not like hearing about the government being stupid and covering up things with stupid stories, I do like to be informed about politics. I've recently seen pages on Facebook post things about how the government is doing certain things and I honestly find it ridiculous. One thing I saw was the government is putting fluoride in the water. If that is actually true, my question is why? Do they not know what fluoride does to a person? It's flat outrageous that people have to hear that but they don't believe it because the government doesn't want them to. The government is a lie. You can say I am basically against the government and I personally don't care what others have to say about this. We all have our own opinions.
Furthermore, the government is being stupid as hell with everything they are doing. The longer people listen to the lies the harder it will be to show them why the government is completely stupid and is using them. You hear more about stupid shit in the news like a girl suing her parents for tuition stuff but you never hear about the bad things that are happening overseas. You hardly hear about what happens overseas because the government wants to cover it up and make it seems like they are doing the right thing when they really aren't.
In conclusion, I am for politics but against the government.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness;only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate;only love can do that.

The fun thing about news is (Well, other than yeah not hearing anything bad like that)
that you hardy ever get to know everything about anything.

I hate that moreso with hot topic debates than politics though, nobody tells you everything so you don't know what to think.

But to actually be on-topic, I care to know but won't really do anything with it. Unless it's horrible
Oh, and

The fun part about propaganda, you never know what is and what isn't. They'd have a lot of people working to hide things if they wanted to. And there's no way to tell if they are.

This got weird :p

I just wish the government/politics in general could be simpler. As it is it takes a lot of studying and classes just to understand how our own damn government works. It can't ever be as simple as I want it to be but it'd be nice if everyone involved in politics took a little bit to realize that they're all people and thus not perfect, and thus able to do the things for the betterment of everyone rather than just doing what everyone else is.

Actually, because I just thought of this, everyone involved in politics is at least a little corrupt, there's no way to avoid it. I believe that everyone wants to make things better but often they don't, usually in fear to loose their job/power. The only way to get rid of corrupt leaders is to get rid of leaders. Which is fun.

And why not, I'll add this too. I don't understand why people treat the laws like they are definite concrete things. They were written on a piece of paper by some people, the same way people try to make laws today yet new laws are criticized harshly while nobody seems to bother with laws made for a 200-some year old society. Nothing said the people who made those laws are gods, they can be changed as needed. Even if changing it doesn't work well it doesn't mean everyone involved is Satan and is going to loose everything they have, we're all people seeking to make the world nicer for everyone involved x.x

Conclusion / I-Don't-Want-To-Read-Today-Version: I think politicians should become people again and I don't really care about what happens in politics as long as I have access to know about it.

Well, I really like politics, whether it's American politics or international politics. But French politics ? No, they're just a bunch either of old bigots and racists, or new I-want-to-change-the-world hipsters. All we do right now is copying America and deteriorating our beautiful language.I'm nearly fluent in english and I like America and its culture, but let's keep ours too !

Whatever, back on topic.Yes, I really like politics, in the world and in America.Acting in politics, even telling your opinion, voting, contributes to make the future a better future.Democracy and federalism are the way to go, and the best systems created so far.

I plan to be engaged in politics in the future, maybe in the US or at the UN, and I'd like to define myself as a semi-independent.I'd take bipartisan outcomes, try to listen to everybody and govern everyone the same way even if they are not from my side - I'll also take the good ideas of all the parties that exists and melt them in order to please everybody.

I believe in a fair, transparent government with no corruption and where we tell the people the darkest things about what happenned in the past and what happens now in the present days, and to act in order to remember those things but also to solve them.

I have hope that the government can be good and transparent, free of corruption again, and I'd like the people with no hopes at all, such as you Nova, to get it.The organization of the government right now in the US is perfect. We just have to change the people. But we can still make our countries, and the world a better place.

We shall debate our pros and cons, and the majority would decide who's got the best ideas in the ballot.Something's wrong ? Just wait a few years, and you'll be able to change your country again.I'm maybe naive, but I still have hope, and trust me, one day, this world will be better.

To sum it up, I still believe in the ideals of freedom, democracy, and the pursuit of happiness, not just for the french or american people, but also for the whole world.Even if politics can lead to war, which is sometimes a necessary evil, it's also, when coupled with diplomacy, a great way to avoid it.That's why I believe in that, will always do, and will always try to make the place I live in a better place.
