Windows 8.1 Installation Issues

Post by JoshN0S »

Okay, so I tried to install Windows 8.1 on my computer the other day, but once it finally got ready and tried to, it couldn't do it, and I had to revert to Windows 8. The time period took about 6 hours which was really frustrating.

I meant the installation process.

The thing in general took about 19 which is even worse.

It's not my PC either, my PC literally can install and uninstall up to almost 2 GB at a time at max.
Pretty good for a Laptop if you ask me.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

My computer took a little while to upgrade to 8.1 too.

Maybe look if there's Windows Update first.

And I don't want to read anything about:

I tried looking at my dad's laptop before the update and see how Windows 8 was, confusing as fuck.

It's not confusing, it's just different.

Peter is right. I kinda want 8.1 now.

Agree.
My reaction on the first moment was like also "Wow...okay ?" then you get used to it very quickly.
It's actually very easy to use and it works smoothly.

Ill probably try again when I get more time.
What are some things in it that make it confusing at first?

Maybe tried it in a computerstore
I think Awesomedude will agree with me here. We are both used to Windows but after having a mac my opinion about their operating system have totally changed.
Runs so smooth compared to windows and its pretty much bugless and dosn't have to restart after each update.
