I'll post what Demon posted a while back and that got positive feedback:

HL2DM DJ Plugin.

Nominate a DJ, give him radio commands and info.
The DJ gets to wear a {R} tag, R stands for Radio.

Commands:

!radio_on - Turn's the radio on, Shows message.
!radio_off - Turn's the radio off, Shows message.
!request - Shows the "Request Menu" in the "Menu's Layouts", Shows message.
!addmusic - Already a command, Shows message.
!djmusic - Shows a music menu of all the submitted songs from "!addmusic" and when a DJ chooses one it will play straight away.
!radiostats - Shows the things in "Radio Status" in the "Menu's Layouts".
!djlist - Shows "DJ's List" in the "Menu's Layouts".
!requestlist - Only for DJ's, shows the current requests from the "!request"
!music - Shows the available songs to request and also you can turn off the radio if you don't like it and listen to what ever you want.
!radiogag <Name>- Gag's a spammer/annoying person from requesting and submitting songs.

This plugin is to replace the current songs plugin, or just another plugin.
Listening to songs will be much more fun with high-quality songs straight from youtube.
The DJ can put the songs into any category and also make new categories.
When you join the server the radio is already on.
When a song is starting to end it fades away and then a background song is put on and the DJ talks through his microphone, s/he has 30 seconds to choose a song and say some off the requested messages, shows a timer.

[Radio] - [GR] DemonX {R}, Submitted a song called, DJ Fresh - Hot Right Now.

Radio On: Chat Message.
Shows to DJ and the player.
[Radio] - The Radio is now on, to turn it off type in !radio_off.

Radio Off: Chat Message.
Shows to DJ and the player.
[Radio] - The Radio is now off, to turn it on type in !radio_on.

Current Song: Top Message.
Shows to all players.
[Radio] - Current Song: DJ Fresh - Hot Right Now.

Menu's Layouts

Request Menu:
Request:
Option 1 - Song - Choose Song: (Button) - Once clicked shows the !music menu and then once chosen a song, sends a request to the DJ, and shows the message.
Option 2 - Message - Type in your message: <Message>. Sends a message request for the DJ to read out.

Listeners: 15/30
Current Song: DJ Fresh - Hot Right Now.
Next Song: DJ Fresh - Hot Right Now.
DJ's Message: Your current DJ is hot right now.

Overall I think this plugin would be great and fun, the server might get new players because there is a cool radio plugin, maybe a better atmosphere because all will be enjoying the music.

DJ's Requirements - These might get changed by Ant or Nick.

1) Member of the Gravity Riders [GR] Clan.
2) Active player on the server (minimum of 3 days on ranklist).
3) Must be at least 13 years old.
4) Must have a microphone.
5) Approval from current admins/owners/DJ's or other players.
6) Must be able to wear the the [GR] and {R} tags in you steam name. (i.e. [GR]YourName{R})
7) Must be trusted by most of the admins/owners/DJ's or other players.

Apply Form - These might get changed by Ant or Nick.

Kinda my opinion too, but that DJ thing will add some more life to the server.
And to back you, that's why the !music menu got added.

But I am my own DJ. I have my music, that I like, playing in my background majority of the time so if this were to happen I'd have to stop listening to my music and that's something I dont want.

No, that's just...too much work to code all this, too complicated and seriously, I'd rather have ant working on new features, new gametypes and new maps than on this.
If you want to listen to music, there's already plenty stations over the internet that broadcast everything, there is YouTube, and the !music plugin.
Would add more life but that's totally unecessary, as I'm sure the DJs will be Demon, Peter or Travis and that all music that will be broadcasted will be dubstep and electro, what pullullates over the internet, and it won't make us discover anything.
