Bring the Respect rule back

People/admins are leaving the server because of all the player/admin disrespect i want a end to all of this. this is one of the reasons Aya resigned that goes for respect on Area51 C&B Deathrun and forms it will put a end to all this drama fighting excreta. We need for players to stop fighting with admins. admins to stop fighting with players. Players to fighting with players.Worst of all Admins fighting with admins. What happend to the old area51? we are losing so many players because of this nonsense. We want to make the server better yet we are making it worse

I know but people don't respect this is why people are leaving......we had more people when we had the respect rule then when you got rid of it.

We just had a pretty full server near the end of the summer. Now theres less cuz school started. (same in general for all hl2dm servers)

So often a person is placed into a position of authority and they believe that their subordinates should automatically pay them respect. It is this type of mentality that often leads to the demise of many managers with good potential. The reality of life is that respect is a trait that you earn from a person not something bestowed upon one because of a title. A person who understands this fundamental concept in management or in life in general will gain the respect of those around them, once earned.
This is something you need to learn.

Doing this would just cause more abuse of the adminship I've seen so many times over a span of one year(with some away time). People "should" respect each other but you can't expect everyone to get long.

This happens anywhere, not just online because of "online anoymous". Sorry to say but everyone should be going in with thicker skin expecting something to go wrong when grouped with people you've never meet nor know what they're like or look like.

Pretty much what ant said. I've seen some pretty biased decision from admins and unneccesary bans on players.
