To be honestly I don't understand the problem by adding admins/mods... cuz there is "mod" plugins for bukkit with limited access. This is not anything near OP.

Permissions, yea. Worked fine on my own server when it was more active than A51 is today.

And what other commands would you want besides /give? There's just not enough commands to have a need for mods. The only admin commands that i use on there is /give and /tp. Thats it. And those two commands will not be given out so.... wat are you stuck with? Regular commands like everyone else. Therefore, no need for mods.

You failed, there is alot of commands that could have been given out to mods if the server had that. Examples: /kick , /wand , /rotate , /slay , /tp , /bb stick , /bb here , /bb find , /bb rollback (not sure) , /bb confirm , /bb undo , /help , /me , //set , //replace ect. Such cmds like that so nothing wont be unfair. And heres a question, if everyone should have regular commands.. why is Michele an admin? And she got access to all the commands, she use /give and she changes dirt ect to glowstone. Well, I think it is unfair for the other players cuz they can't have a chance/chance of becoming a mod/admin whatever.

Sorry ant, but I agree with Jack, if you dont want mods, maybe get to know some people and once you can trust them, make them OP. Or jack is right, there are WAY MORE commands then what he said one off the top of my head is /sphere and a lot more. Please Ant, give people a chance to prove themselves.

we also need admins for mc server that are in some other timezone than Ant/Nick/Michele or it's just a jungle full of monkeys.
and if someone would be admin/mod at all then i vote for jack cuz he is almost always on.

After reading all of this and thinking about it, I totally agree with everyone that says that there should be ops on the server but only with the commands that won't really help them in any way like the /give command. Well said Jack. +1 vote for Jack as an OP or whatever.

If were going on this track I would like to stand up as a choise for an OP. Starting with the most see-able, I do have most of the server under my nation, I have been on the Mine Craft server sence last year, before the re-set. and have been playing MC Sence Alpha. Lastly I do personly belive I have gained trust with everyone...mostly everyone.
Now to stop being self-oriented, I believe an OP Would be a good idea for our server, Even if Its not me

Maybe 2-5 people with just ./kick ./tempban ? thats all i want, to keep things like Gordon happening again. Or a Vote Ban Plugin? Just ideas

I Just configured a server and going threw all the permissions, you get a ton of Control of What a Player can do. I had a problem where my players could tpa but not accept them XD (New to Permissions:3) but i can see Ant's Point that no one really needs Moderator
