Custom sprays?

Just curious if custom sprays work or not, it seems like no matter what I try to use none of my custom sprays work.

They were blocked when there was a known server exploit with then. Supposedly valve fixed it but who knows...

You can see your spray, which is good for marking traps (such as breakables), but other than that, theres really no need to see others sprays. It offers too many hints for hidden traps, and just leads to inappropriate or advertising sprays.
