Why not have creative server instead. Or maybye 2 servers creative and 'survival'? I dont like the idea of fighting for diamonds and other stuff. It kinda makes me mad when i see threads like '..... killed me! Ban him now' or 'plzzzzzzzzzz ban dat fag cuz he went into my house and stole my dirt and gravel' and 'lets have war cuz he walked on my roof and sniped my friends'

I currently play a Creative server. With a twist.
It's a creative building server that offers the items to you with the Bukkit 'Supply' plugin, and you can build fine. However, donating gives you access to creative mode, teleport to other players, etc. I donated the other day, and I've seen 5-6 other donate since.
Something you should really consider Ant/Nick, because you'd probably be able to afford a RAM upgrade pretty quickly. Or just as a test to see how it goes?

But there is an plugin called "Multiverse" with That plugin you can make multiple worlds like
A survival world and à creative world..

Items can be carried through portals, so people would go to creative just to get the items they want.
