Hmm I'm getting that message for every server I try to connect to, so it could be my problem.

Nope, can connect to some servers now. You must not be updated properly.

im having the same problem, and my hl2:dm doesn't seem to be updating, anyone know how to fix it?

You can't. Ant has to update the server.

Earlier the server was sort of full, even after the update. A lot of people were still running the old client.

But it has 5/32 players in it right now, so I'm guessing most people have already updated and cannot connect.

They did something with the sound on this update, it sounds better, anyone notice?
