Re: models
Add the models/materials to your hl2mp/models & hl2mp/materials folders.
Then start up SDK hammer and those materials/models should show up in your texture and model browers.
HOWEVER... just cuz you see them in hammer, does NOT mean they are included in the map. You will see them in the map (cuz you have the files in ur hl2mp folder) but anyone who does not (meaning most players) will just see the purple/black checkered error texture or the error model. You must manually include these files into the bsp after you compile it using an outside program such as Pakrat.
The best way to test the final map is to temporarily move ur hl2mp/models, materials, and sound folders to somewhere else (like the desktop), and then run ur map in HL2DM. If you see errors, so will everyone else.
If your having problems with packing the custom stuff for a map that your making for Area 51, just let me know and you can just send me the bsp and all the custom files so that i can combine it all.
