is it possible to make a private server on tf2 without having to pay? (by that meaning temporarily)me and captainbarrelroll have been puzzling for a long time,we tried hamachi,dedicated server,etc but none worked

Pick your router, the you can pick any game/program on the next page and just follow the instructions to forward a port (just change the actual port number to 27015 or w/e u want your server to run on).

Port 80 is for WWW (Apache). And by the way if your not going to use port 27015 then you should add "+port" to the srcds properties.
Warning: If you have anything running on a port and you try to run SRCDS on the same port i think it won't work. Try to use a different port for each thing that uses them.
