Yep He Was confused with another John in the hospital. Cause weirdly enough the same thing happened to both of them. and their names were John. but i found this out a while back. he is alive :).

god damn... the exact same thing happened on this show i used to watch: drake and josh.

Josh's dad: nurse, how long until my son's surgery? his name is Josh Nicholes.
nurse: oh... sorry, he passed away
