Re: Buffer Overflow in Net Message?
Put in console: rate 10000
Thats the default value. Some other servers set it lower. Our server limits it to 20000, so u can set it higher to get better gameplay (if ur internet can handle that rate).

Or just do ESC>mute players or player list>mute all, that kick message often appears when too many ppl are using the mic do that and you should be fine.

Re: Buffer Overflow in Net Message?
If you have anywhere near decent internet speed, that shouldnt happen. Which is why its usually just the rate limit that gets forced too low in some servers.killman2639 wrote:Or just do ESC>mute players or player list>mute all, that kick message often appears when to many ppl are using the mic do that and you should be fine.

Re: Buffer Overflow in Net Message?
i keep mine at 30000, but like i said the server restricts it to 20000 anyway (Area 51 servers that is).Motherfat wrote:do rate 25000 it works better
