So hey guys,
I've been browsing the Steam forums alot and honestly, the more we move foward in life with Steam, the more idiots and low IQ people are becoming.
Indeed, the most topics I've been reading are related to hijacked accounts.
Counting myself as having my account hijacked once for not playing attention to the Bandicam's crack program, I am sure we can add more and more security to Steam Account's, people will continue and give out their account information to the world.
No matter how many times we tell them to be careful to the text in chat messages, they'll still be stupid enough to click, put their password and even more pathetic, give out the Steam guard file.
While I am still with my account intact with no VAC bans on record or items stolen, I've learnt to be more careful with my Steam Account.
I know that at least 3 or 4 people on this forum got their account stolen in the past but I sure hope they are more careful with their account.
Now that we are talking about it, I'd like to point out when will people realize to be more careful with text in chat boxes.
All hijacking messages look the same, so you should basically know at the 3 first seconds that you are going to get scammed.
"Hello fag,
My friend wants to add you but he can't (Steam error) and he has a very good offer for you, please add him -> Fake negro Steam link"
Yet, people are fools and still click the fake link, enter their information and give out their Steam guard file... Steam guard file -> Each time I see this, I'm like "Why do we have people like this on Earth? The Russians are the most stupid, but now we have expanded this stupidity all over the world. When is this going to stop?"
To answer this question, obviously never.
As we say here, the risk zero doesn't exist, in other words, we are always at risk.
I'm sorry if this message is getting long, but you have to realize how stupid people are becoming. Even for myself I think I was stupid enough to catch a keylogger on my account.
So my recommendation is to grab G-mail first and add the 2-step verification for further security.
Yolo swag people, make sure you keep your account secure and if you are a tradder, don't get scammed please.
Thanks for reading,
Peter.

If your account is hacked because of that you're a fucking retard without common sense and deserved it.

We are here to discuss.Nicdel wrote:If your account is hacked because of that you're a fucking retard without common sense and deserved it.
If it was aimed to me, then no, my account was not compromised again.
I am just talking about people who are really stupid on the Internet.

A lot for the users on the computer's, do not even know what the computer is 1/0 controlled (idiots)
and many ppl do download cracked stuff without knowing if the side is good or poor. I am kindly saying that you can should carefully think before you download.
What to check when you download: (this is on your own risk! don't blame me if you download and get virus) this is total illegal and should not be done by any one. YOU CAN END UP IN JAIL!!! This is only tips! and tricks.

1. How does the side look like? poor or trustworthy
2. Look for any trust-pilot/search for a trusty rating side!
3. Do the side you find the torrent file from have their own database? (file on there hard-disk). If not look on the torrent file and the rating from other ppl (read also the comments)
4. Take the torrent with most downloads and best rating
5. Have a secure torrent down-loader and stop the torrent from seeding when finish
6. Run anti-virus program on the downloads (before reformatting files/folder)
7. Give it a test
8. Rate it on the side for other users (optimal)

Re: Moving foward with Steam
I don't like that people do this, as they take accounts of people most of whom I'd assume aren't that familiar with computers/internet scams and such and I can only think they sell them for profit.
If someone's say 10-12 and haven't dealt with scams before, they don't really deserve to have things stolen like that like someone older could.
Either way, best to be safe with the accounts you have, being we've all (with a few exceptions maybe) spent money on them.

Re: Moving foward with Steam
I personally hate or should I say hate'd steam when I was doing TF2 trades... I've been getting invites from people that were phising... It happened way too many times and way too many people tried to fuck me over so I personally just stopped trading... because I cannot be fucked with cunts, trying to report them when steam ain't doing shit about it.
