I've been thinking about getting a guitar but the one I want is really expensive. Fucking Gibson....

It has the Lenovo Ultrabay (replaces CD/DVD drive), so it's 2 separate 2GB graphics cards in SLI.awesomedude wrote:I might if my hardware pusher puts something good on sale.

Yeah but, multiple gpu's running in sli still only has the amount of memory that the card with the lowest ram has.ant_8490 wrote:It has the Lenovo Ultrabay (replaces CD/DVD drive), so it's 2 separate 2GB graphics cards in SLI.awesomedude wrote:I might if my hardware pusher puts something good on sale.

Example: One GTX 680 with 2 gb of vram and 3 GTX 680 with 4 gb of vram running in sli, the amount of gpu memory available is 2 gb. Not 2 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 14 gb. But 2 gb is enough for pretty much everything, unless you hook up a 4k screen or something.
Anyways, didn't mean to go offtopic. I'm in the market for a new w7 key, but I doubt they'll put it on sale.

Re: Black Friday Shopping
Are those the GT750M edition with GDDR5 memory or GDDR3 memory?
If they are the GDDR3 memory edition then they won't run FHD games very well. In additional running SLI cards on laptops wasn't recommended for a while ago because of badly optimised drivers and micro sluttering problems on a handful of games. Its always recommended to go for 1 powerfull card instead of two cards.

Edit: It's (2) Nvidia GeForce GT 755m GDDR5 (SLI).
