haaaaaaalp

Post by awesomedude »

So, I get extremely tired when I'm in school, and we recently got a new teacher that threatened us with having to buy cake for everyone if you fall asleep in his classes.

Buying cake for 20 persons is expensive, but energy drinks and/or coffee every single day is expensive as well. Sleeping more doesn't really help, I get tired no matter how many hours I sleep.

And it's not because classes are boring, I like them and I want to be awake and focused on the subject.

What do you guys do to prevent being so damn tired?

Well it's not a "normal" school, I'm under training as an aircraft mechanic. It's a bad thing to be half asleep while working on a passenger jet capable of carrying 500 passengers lol. Guess that's why my teacher implemented the cake-law.
Thanks for the link, but I was more interested in hearing how you guys cope with being sleepy (other than sleeping lol)

I think this has something do to with: How much you sleep, eat & exercise.
My tip if you don't already do, try to exercise if you've time. aircraft school sounds hard
Eat healthy, also sleep the amount of hours you're supposed to.

Patience is a small price to pay for perfection.

Also try sleep on normal time ;-)
Going sleep at 11pm or 2am feel different even if you sleep the same amount of hours.

If you've ever "addicted" to energy drinks, that could be the problem too.
I was drinking Monster/Redbull/coffee everyday last summer.
I felt always tired like you did.

I get around 7-8 hours of sleep every night, going to bed between 10 and 11:30 pm, alarm clock goes off at either 06 or 06:30 am.

But yeah Snoap, I've found exercising helpful a couple of times, it's just pretty rare that I get the time for it.. School is pretty hard and time consuming + I've got a part time job..

Not sure if I'm addicted to energy drinks and coffee, I just buy it because it helps me stay awake for 30 minutes or so lol

My mother always asks me to sleep at 9 pm, but it's impossible, I always sleep around 10 pm.

The only time I drink coffee is the morning before going to school.

I rarely drink energy drinks.

I like running for an hour outside because sport at school went harder than last year.

Anyways, the advise I would give you is to practise few sports before sleeping.

Yea, it only works for short time.lol
And it seems like it doesn't work anymore after you start to drink it regularly.
Excising is the best ;-)
Personally,I don't like running but I like to have weight training or use an Elliptical trainer.
GO TO THE GYM :D

Maybe you're narcoleptic. I know some guy with that illness, he takes meth as medicine.
