I appreciate how hard it is to make new maps, and people have favourite maps to play but Rusty and I were having a conversation last night about the fact that on the Deathrun server there are about three maps played over and over. Following this I had an idea. Keep the current "rtv" system in place but auto rotate the map if no RTV is initiated within, say, 10 or 15 games. This would ensure an even distribution of maps played and people would be less bored - and more importantly we wouldn't be playing castlerun seemingly every other game.

People put their time into all of these maps and it seems a shame to waste the less played ones.

Just a thought.

Or I could make the repeat cycle higher. Meaning a map won't show up on the rtv menu unless you have gone through a certain amount of maps. I think right now it's like 6 but that was made when we had a lot less maps.

Yep, right now its set to 10, but i'm not sure if that affects the nominate menu too, or just the RTV menu, so i'll have to check.
