Actually LoL is a cheap copy of first dotA game
LoL= for noob players who likes easy games.
Dota 2 = for hardcore players
Dota 2 is more hard than LoL , but that's exactly make it a good game , also it has better graphics and others.

Actually the truth is that the first dota games were made by the same team as the guys who made league of legends. After time another team took over and basically ruined dota by making it unbalanced in many ways.

There is also no way that you can know the difficulty between those 2 games, they both are hard in competitive play. So you can say that league of legends is a easy game, that can be said of dota 2 too. It just all depends on who you are playing the game against. LOL is perhaps just easier to learn than dota 2.

As far as balanced goes, I'd say league of legends is more balanced than dota 2. The environment in dota2 is probably better because in league of legends you have alot of flamers/trash talkers, basically a bad community.

I played Data 2 once or twice. For people who enjoy that type of game it is very nice.
Just I personally don't. Doesn't give me any room to call the game shit because I personally don't like those types of games.
