ValvE has fixed this issue just in time.

Seriously, I join and walk = lag.
The game is dead, it's unplayable anymore.
It's not the game I used to know back in 2007.

Because the OB update they made for the game that broke most of the features, did they fix it?

Everyone can try using the concmd "bug" and see if ValvE still responds to that Bug Report feature.
The best thing to do at this moment is to get it's attention from either a "professional" or valve to fix it some day.
This bug depends on your latency and some other dependencies.
Until then I'm just gonna pretend I live in Australia and have crappy Internet.

Exactly. I don't even seen the big deal about the lagging issues. I am not even lagging that bad with the update and a lot of people are like " Oh my god I am lagging! It's Gaben's fault! Someone fix this shit! This game is ruined!!" Gettin on my nerves. It's one little update that can be fixed so chill out. On accident, caused major delay of movement of the player depending on the latency.
This basically ruins the gameplay
