Universe
So what do you think where our Universe is leading?
Do you think this happens for ever or is there a boundary?
What do you think will happen?
I want to know your guys opinions because this is very mind blowing to see what's happening around our world and beyond.

I guess there is sole life around there...But either they are retarded and cannot know we're there, or they know we are there but they are so intelligent that they don't want to loose their times with pig like us...(Yes, the more they are far, the more they see 'the past' (So it means that actually if they live around Mars they would see Washington leading the Independence War)).

I see what you did there... it's because light didn't travel that far yet right?commander fury wrote:(Yes, the more they are far, the more they see 'the past' (So it means that actually if they live around Mars they would see Washington leading the Independence War).
This might be true or not but we never will know unless we invent speed light travelling to travel across our galaxy.
And also I want to know what do you think about the 2 galaxies that are going to collide... our galaxy (The Milky Way) and the Andromeda Galaxy.

Re: Universe
That doesn't make sense.... Light from the sun takes 8 minutes to get to earth and 13 minutes to get to mars. That means its only 5 minutes for light to travel from earth to mars. Events that happen on earth are on only delayed by 5 minutes if viewing of from mars and I'm pretty sure the revolutionary war was more than 5 minutes ago.Demon wrote:I see what you did there... it's because light didn't travel that far yet right?commander fury wrote:(Yes, the more they are far, the more they see 'the past' (So it means that actually if they live around Mars they would see Washington leading the Independence War).
You would have to be 83,536,770,000,000,000 miles away to just be seeing that war now (from 1776).

Right, I just had taken that from my science book but they were talking about andromeda or another shit, dumb me >.<
Well anyway if we a day make it to that Andromeda planet the people going there would have made a time travel.

I didn't read his reply properly.. I was thinking that something or something was observing us from really far away that's why I was talking about light and shit..

Re: Universe
Numberphile on youtubes video on Googol and Googolplex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GEebx72-qs
They talk about what a googol and a googolplexis and that number in relation to the universe.
Text overview of video
Basicly, a googol is equal to 10^100 which is 1 with 100 zeros behind it
and a googolplex is equal to 10^googol so, 10 to the power of 10 to the power of 100
To put a googol into perspective, If the universe was filled with sand, it would be about 10^90 particles
So, A googol is a big number.. And a googolplex is an unimaginably large number.
Counting every particle in the universe, the first being a 1 and every other particle listed as a 0(As to make it write out like a googolplex), we wouldn't hit a googolplex.
Now, the Really interesting bit.
What if the universe was a googolplex meters across?
This universe is far larger than our own as far as we know, But if space extends indefinitely, Then this could possibly be true as long as particles exist in the space
The number of different ways the space an average human could be filled(1m³), with any molecule or empty space, would be 10^10^70
Which is less than a googolplex.
So if you traveled across the entire universe, it would be very likely that you would meet an arrangement of atoms that matches your build exactly.
Literally a copy of yourself. It might not be sentient, But it would be the same arrangement of atoms taking up that 1 by 1 meter space as you do. Nearly a clone.
**All of this wonderful information is taken from said video at the top, I'm not actually this smart, I just reference things**

Intresting fact there Ant, I might just randomly use it on my essay over the American Revolutionary War, might get me extra points with Mr.Alberti not so sure about Mrs. Kennedy though....ant_8490 wrote:That doesn't make sense.... Alberti is my World History teacher and Mrs. Kennedy is my English teacher.

Hum, I think it would be more appropriated to draw this supermega information like a coew-boi in a duel when you are with your sciences/maths teacher.SuperNovaX wrote:Intresting fact there Ant, I might just randomly use it on my essay over the American Revolutionary War, might get me extra points with Mr.Alberti not so sure about Mrs. Kennedy though....ant_8490 wrote:That doesn't make sense.... Commander no, I hate both my science teachers (I am taking Biologly and Chemistry this year) and I hate my math teacher so much that I don't even do half the work in her class because of my hatred towards her.

Fuck logic really.SuperNovaX wrote:Commander no, I hate both my science teachers (I am taking Biologly and Chemistry this year) and I hate my math teacher so much that I don't even do half the work in her class because of my hatred towards her.
I might be like, the same age as yours ? And I understood since a long time that even when you hate a professor, you need to do the work to get good grades and then get in good schools to have the well-paid job of your choice and to guarantee to you and your family a bright future.
You should start do to like me.
Ontopic : I really doubt that your history teacher will give a single fuck to a science thingy, even with the words 'Revolutionary War' in it, it has more to do with science (99,99,99%) than with hitsory (00,00,01%(For the 'revolutionnary war words)).
