I still this think is ridiculous. I'd be surpised if anyone would even reduce using any kind of technology like smartphones and stuff, just because your little cute essay.
Technology is awesome, it's the thing that differs us from other animals and make awesome things possible, like life-saving and life-simplifying transplants.
It's just pathetic to think about a world with almost no technology, just because you think it's some kind of bad.

My stupidity? If we didn't have the technology we have today people would be dying from every disease known, we wouldn't have the first clue about what space looked like, we wouldn't have the advanced medicines that we have today, we wouldn't have bombs to help aid in war, we wouldn't be able to do much with out the technology we have today so your essay proved nothing.

That's because they didn't have them (computer, smartphones) at their time, I'm pretty much fucking sure they would've used them if they had the chance to.

So you say people can't "accomplish great things" anymore, because of technology? Technology HELPS to invent things, it simplifies everything, our life as well.

@Supernova : Wtf.You just seems not to understand that.If you knew who were these peoples, these things, you would knew that in the past we have accomplished alot of things, of architectural progress, scientific reasearches, medical advances and even vaccins, and without the help of all these technlogies of nowadays.That was just to give you an exemple that we CAN accomplish great things without the help of all our nowadays tech.

@Stefan : I didn't said that today people cannot accomplish great things anymore.That post was just toshow to Nova that we can do great things without much nowadays technology, and infact nowaday's tech is just an extra, a luxury that we can not use, but that won't happen ikr & btw I totally support medical and scientific progress & technologies.

The original goal of this topic was to explain why all these smartphones, phones and tablets, readers, how all these technologies are useless, and that we can do without them.
I am not denouncing technology in medical or scientific reaserches.I even support that.These are great things.
