It's not, the whole book it boring. It jumps around from like thing to think. It could go from talking about dining in a mess hall to a little girl talking to nuns in a matter of seconds.

World War I and II isn't boring, but if the book is, burn it.

To be honest, World War I was boring as hell to learn, but the movies weren't. I could read some of World War I, then immediately fall asleep. But World War II caught my full-attention. I didn't fall asleep at all when reading about the war, despite it being a fucked up war.

I find the whole history interesting.
I have passed thru my WW II period, Napoleonian one, atm Im on the Civil War.I guess WW I interest will come later.
If there's a 'movie' (Yeh it's not totally a movie but)) that I would advise you, it is North & South.That shows a great panel of american history, from the mexico war to the end of the civil war.With all the events between (Harper's Ferry, Lincoln's elections, etc etc I guess you know that).
