Well, first of all, lightning isn't the fastest thing in the universe. Light is. Lightning is plasma, not just some light flying around. Secondly, Nico is right (although you did put one zero too many in your post, the speed of light is 300.000 km/s, not 3.000.000 km/s). It's physically impossible for ANYTHING to move faster than light.

If you think about something and turn up the light at the same time, you notice that your thoughts has came before the light.

That's a piece of shit example. The only reason as to why the light comes after your thoughts, is the fact that your thoughts are slower than light. There's a delay from your brain sending out signals to your body, telling it to turn on the light. Using your example, I could say that rain drops quicker than thinking because it hits you before you notice that it's raining. This shit is way too complicated/sophisticated for this forum.
