Ant, can you make a new sub-form, which posts automatic topics when ever a member of the forum has their b-day.
No one can create topics but they can post to say happy b-day.

I'm kinda active, and i don't want to be said happy birthday.
May i suggest user-choosing in the profile? "publicly announce birthday in a thread" or whatever.

And yea, seems hard to make.

When we start to think about it, you're right.
The idea become kind of useless.
When person's birthday shows up at the bottom,if this person is really active and have friends there,or "worth" an happy b-day thread,then someone,or himself/herself will create one about it.
It already has been done several times, so I don't see why we couldn't continue doing it .
