SDK,launch problem...

Post by commander fury »

SDK don't want to launch...

Code: Select all

Medialist.txt missing Images key.
Appears when I try to launch it,in a windows...
I installed Source SDK long times ago,I didn't knew if I did all right, but I can remember that I launched it and it worked perfectly. The only problem is that at this time I didn't wanted to make any maps and I fastly let it fell.

So,now,well,I have this problem...

Any fixes ?

1. There's an update file somewhere in SDK folders who needs to be removed, try to look.
2. It might fix it, but if you can lauch, at least, Source SDK menu, try refreshing content and reset everything.
3. If Source SDK doesn't launch, then re-install it.
4. Steam has updated Source Engines few days ago (well for me, it has), so I think you'll need to find as I said in 1, the update file, then try to launch SDK.
Hope it helps.

John, just for information, the way you write your sentences can annoy some people, would you kindly add a space after each "," you add please?
I hear some discussions at some places about that, and some aren't happy. <- Including me but meh, not that much.

Just saying.
Thanks and no offense.

Yes,I see who it annoys and where it get talked about.
In my french and english lessons,I've never heard of not adding a space after the "," is a bad thing...
Youre the first person to complain about this.
I'll try to do it,but well,I really cant see how this can annoy people...

So,yeah,I'll watch out for it but not sure if I will succeed for each message.
Thanks anyways for noticing that.

By the underlined part of text,I am saying that I know who it disturbs...
If he was alone,I wouldn't say this as he already told me that he didn't lieked that.

But that's not a topic about grammar. If you want to talk about my grammar and the forum autocorrect, start a thread in the "Random topics" space.I don't want to get in a nazi grammar battle over all my forums message.
Damn,as long I stay understood,I don't see any problems.
But I'm always open for corrections from people. As long it is in PM and don't put the topic off-limits.

I had to say that, otherwise someone would have said it wrong sooner or later.

Yes, habbits are hard to change.
I'll try to correct as much I can in my future posts ;)
And thanks for trying to avoid a storm.
