Well,provincials aren't all dumb and idiot peaseantries.Just look at me,living in little village,but having some of the best marks of my school,well,exept in maths...I'm getting my better marks in languages,history,geography and philosophy.Intelligence isn't only for scientific things,but the worlds needs the two : People would have a very difficult life if one of the two were missing.And you know,thoses times,with the internet,the TV,radio and all,even peasants can easily learn what they need/want to learn.Now the place where we live doesn't have much importance anymore...What Is sad for some civilizations who lost all their cults...South American (lasts) indians are drinking coca cola as "sacred drinking".They could even have an access to internet.
I think that here,too,we need both : Humans need to share their culture and their blood,but not too much : Preserving our own culture and sharing it with the world,without having the other person's way of life,exept if we come visiting their country.
