I hate to be the one saying this, but someone has to state the obvious. It's called minecraft for a reason, not freecraft. Part of building something really awesome is knowing that you've been underground and mined every single part of it. When I look in my chests I look at hours of hard work, not just a quick trip to the shop.
Sure the server is mostly for building, but it's just not the same when all the materials used are from an infinite source of free shit, then again, everything you need is already free. Just go mining you lazy bitches.

Regarding the piston glitch, I honestly thought notch patched that thing already. Just unwhitelist anyone that does it. If you're stupid enough to do it, you don't deserve getting a warning before getting unwhitelisted.

I can admit that I used this glitch, but I can also tell you that I burned the stuff I glitched after Ant warned me yesterday. I miss old times in 1.7.3 world when I joined the server and started building with materials that I spent hours to get and I met Ana and a few other people, then I builded a huge tower which took me 10 hours to build. Then me and xseba discovered different parts of the server. Then we builded a house in wilderness which never got griefed. I srsly miss all this. But right now everything is just fucked up and I can take some of the blame for that. If the server never got a world change from 1.7.3 I think nothing of this would ever happend. But thats no ones fault because last summer when the server was running this world there was a storm that took the power in the server location and without any backups the server weren't able to get back to the same old world so they started in a new one (If im not wrong). Well, I got enough of Area51 minecraft server because it feels like I don't belongs to the server anymore. Some of you probably know that I lost my mod status and thats not the reason why I left. I left because Minecraft is only causing problems for me, atleast on that server because most of my friends play there. The server needs a change and I hope that without me it might be easier, we will see. It feels like I've done soo much wrong on the server but we will see now. So my point is that awesomedude is right, why do we exaclty glitch stuff when the whole point with this game is to play fair and get stuff without glitching them. Like mining, digging ect. We will see, I don't think I will join again if the server is getting changed to something like this. Probably coming back in next world or if we can get this changed.
And about the glitch, it should get patched very soon.

This server type is known as "Free-Build," sorry if someone already pointed this out I vote, sure. It will be much more interesting seeing the towns/cites people can build with "Creative." Tho i do think fly mod should be allowed at this point, unless i'm missing an important reason not to allow it If this is going to be a free-build, f**k it, go all the way right?

Flying would lag the server and expand the map. And actually I would really rather not have the freebuild thing, just ruins the point of survival mode.

Why not get a freemode server AND survival server?


Survival server would be the current 1 left alone and the freemode server would still have the plugins, but you could be able to build towns and whatever? Or does it just cost more?

no duh its called minecraft, but there is such a thing as creative mode where you get EVERYTHING FREE, so it could be called freecraft aswell

So what I am understanding is, every single thing in the shop is FREE, so you can make your own thing for free, like a house out of diamonds or some shit? If so, then hell yes, bring it. The server is just for building anyways, not for the pvp n shit.

I dont care about pvp but it doesn't seem like you have accomplished anything when you have all the materials for free. Just my two cents.:3
