hey guys, today i am going to be posting about tekkit. Tekkit is a modpack for multiplayer on its own stand alone launcher for minecraft. it includes over 41 mods, that are all server side. but you need the tekkit launcher which can be found on there website which i will post later. but tekkit is a pretty much a hardcore version of minecraft only you can respawn n crap. so i wanted to suggest we have a tekkit server instead of just a regular mc version, and i know before people post "ant and nick dont want mods" atleast give it a look on youtube. it would make minecraft alot better, and more interesting. so please give this a look and try it out in sp atleast.

it add like 20 new weapons, aswell as computer craft. you can code computers, and i think its out of lua... not sureshadowslayer wrote:New weapons or gtfo.

I currently run a Tekkit Server, and a new map would be needed. Tekkit Will NOT regen chucks to add in all the new ores. Also Ant doesn't have this Minecraft server as one of his main servers, and tekkit requires a lot of server maintenance all the time. Its not like Minecraft where for the most part you can set up and leave alone. All these modded items have to be patched or Disabled because they bypass permissions or can remove entire chucks with a single click...I would stick to HL2:DM where Ant and Nick are spending their time, and enjoy what they do.
