Does Area 51 have an IRC server if not could you please recommend it in the future.

Not sure if an IRC server is supported in valve games. Probably wouldn't work out because there would be mass spam in chat.

Isn't Teamspeak supposed to be alittle bit like IRC?

well, i was thinking that it would be a neat thing for the people who dont want to play or spectate on any of the games or if they just don't have them so they could still talk to people but just like on the games we could have admin who can gag or mute or whatever
