I played the 'boxes and crates' map today and I've to say, it sucks.

No offense Nick, but everybody was shouting and screaming about how bad the map was and that nobody cooperated. I lagged as shit (and I wasn't the only one), everybody did random shit and didn't do something useful it all. So I grabbed my change and destroyed every crate or box that spawned, everybody was raging and I did make my team lose.

But it was fun, I laughed my ass off. So keep the map on the server, kbye.

I don't lag at all in them and I also didn't see that many complain about them... Only shitty thing is if people break all the boxes so you can't proceed :x

These maps are not to be used 100% of the time. It can be annoying at times, but I believe it creates more variety. I will not be taking down these maps. If you lag, it is your computer. End of discussion. I'm tired of hearing lag. If your graphics cards lags, your internet will lag because the amount of packets is determined by your FPS. If you put 66 for updaterate and you're only getting 30fps, your computer will ONLY output 30 packets.

I've converted mostly every deathrun map there is on CSS. So, for all of you haters out there, there is not to much more to add to the game. Maybe you should try and help out the community by making a map. I have nothing else to say other than live with it.

I would suggest making/adding actual jumping maps to the server. But this might be too difficult for the 'noobs' of the community.
However, there is an old map from a hl2 mod I used to play every now and again(the map, not the mod). Rather simple, but a good idea.

You just start at the bottom of these large pillars, and you make your way to the top as fast as you can.
I would suggest adding some sort of trigger to the bottom of the map, so that people who think they can just wait for the others to die so they win, get killed.
Also, there were a few missing textures when I played it, so that'd need fixing, and some sort of reward at the top of the map, say a button that kills all members of the not on top, securing victory.

Uhm, and 7 mins might not be long enough for this map xD

Edit: Definitely a map I'd love to play on the deathrun server, with a few modifications to it.
