Im glad that you put a lot of time into this but, theres a reason why we dont allow stuff like HLDJ. Simply because people dont want to be forced to hear music when they are playing. Either because they have slow internet and they lag from the extra voice packets or they just dont want to hear the shit music/sounds you may be playing.

So here's a few comments/questions I have:

1) Having the radio on all the time (or on by default) is out of the question. This will not work out well with most people. Many players already do !sounds_off just for small 1-3 second sounds. Could you imagine if they entered the server listening to a continuous stream of music that they may not even like.

2) Who's coding all this? This seems like a fairly intense project that I don't have time for at the moment.

3) Why would why i want to request a song to a DJ, and then have to wait if to see if it will be played, if i could just open up the current !music and just listen to it instantly?

4) Another application section? So now you want Area 51 to basically hire official "mic spammers"?

5) To stream from youtube, the embed video code must be open on the MOTD window. Anytime you open a new MOTD page, such as viewing the ranklist or rules page, the current youtube page will close. So how would it be possible to have a song stream to everyone at the same time, and account for people visiting other pages?

I'm not saying its a bad idea, but a lot of things would have to be changed in order for this to work. I know that I and a lot of people have great internet, so we don't lag when streaming from youtube, but many people on HL2DM apparently do have crappy internet and cant handle it.
