ALMOST everytime when i join the server i must download all the files again, this is a known problem or more people are affected?

i have this problem too. if i rejoin i have to download them all. this fixes with a game-restart

idk how it's called in english, but try to select all files (half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\), go to properties and select "read-only" or "write-protected" Idk, it's "Schreibgeschützt" in german.

So the game can not delete the files anymore (and you don't have to download them again).

Ban.

As long as you have the map and files, you can just type "cl_downloadfilter none" in console.
Change it back to "cl_downloadfilter all" if you need to dl anything.
