HELP N00b TO OPEN SCRIPT

i have a few scripts but i dont get em work i have it here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\--username--\half-life 2 deathmatch\config but when i use the exec explosion (for example a rainbow explosion) it don't work D: please help me

the exec explosion causes the error 'explosion' not present; not executing.

Has to be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\--username--\half-life 2 deathmatch\cfg

thats the problem there is no cfg
