I was wondering if you could have storage units in your server were people pay to keep things safe and when they stop paying or dont want it you can auction them of for money. idk i was just wondering.

Well, We can have auctions, But if iam right no one will really put stuff in a storage, as you can just as easily make a chest room - _ -

I think you misunderstand. Dead is saying that no one will store something in a storage unit if they can easily just make their own chests.
