Problem with money

I'm trying to create a new town, and in my money thing it says I have 11,000
but when type /r it says I have 8.30 and it won't let me create a town and it says i do not have enough money to settle into a town.
Dead has tried giving me money but it doesn't seem to work.
Is there a command to deposit into a resident bank or something? because it doesn't seem to let me to anything without money and i've already moved all my stuff to make a new town.

EDIT: and yes i've checked the tutorial. I'm doing everything as instructed so don't go and tell me to read the tutorial.

Just a thought: if you are a nation assistant somewhere, it might be thinking that you are trying to make a town with funds in the capital city's bank, which might account for the 8.30. Idk though

But it has been at 8.30 for a while and it never changes it.

Problem fixed. Towny/iConomy are case-sensitive apparently. ladyselena -> LadySelena
