A new server soon?

In recent days of playing deathrun, i have become interested in bhop/strafe. when i finally get round to setting up a server, i will probably make it for jumping, is anyone interested in the idea, because if not, post what you would like to see.
Extra note: if people have the same tastes as me i guess the server would become pretty full, as i have never come across a jumping server on hl2.
opinions? comments? suggestions? ideas?

I seen a couple jumping maps/strafe challenge maps a long time ago on hl2. I never really seen a popular one though. You would probably have to have a ton of maps to keep it interesting, then it may get popular. I may have a few maps if you decide to make this. Also if you do, and maybe choose to make a it a Area 51/GR server, i would help u get a FastDL server setup if u need it.

Now that sounds pretty cool ant, i'd love to make the server part of the GR 'network', but this might not happen for a while, as i need my dad to re-open the ports, and he has to work.

I also don't know at what stage in the server setup you are able to start helping. I also like the idea of mini games, but what mini games? and i dont think it would be very popular if we had minigames and jumping, so we will see how jumping goes for a while. Also Ant, just pointing out, this would mean having 3 roots admins. you ok with that?

So Ant, were do you start helping for FastDL? straight after port forward? before? after?
My dad said he might be able to tommorow, being the weekend. AND we set it up. Should i make a new computer, because i doubt my dad would let me keep my pc on all the time, and it heats up quickly.

FastDL would be basically the last step since it is optional. I just makes maps, models, materials, and sounds download faster, but it is not needed for the server to actually run.

As you know, i tried to create a server (srcds) but i failed miserably, getting stuck at ucp? ports.
So im clueless after that stage.
