Im not going to do anything right now... cuz i cant. We have to wait for craftbukkit (server addon manager) to update their stuff. Nothing anyone else can do or help with at this time.

ive been reaching into chests all day and i have had no problems on my end, did u read that off wikipedia? because it can sometimes be slow to update the known bug list

Know I have firsthand experience with the bug. I also submitted 2-3 of the bugs (someone might have submitted a couple already b4 me) on the wiki such as the stove glitch, the light from torches underwater glitch, and the shift clicking in chests crashing your game glitch. Not to mention the messed up lighting on chests in worlds generated b4 1.8

i do remember some of what u said happening to my 1.7 map when the pre-release first came out but i just went back and it seems none of it is happening anymore, in fact even my chests are back to normal now

Just as a update...

I put the lasted build of Bukkit on the server and the server plugins/addons work fine. Just a few bukkit-only/MC bugs that i saw. Such as dark/unlit chests, and a random door glitch, where u cant go through it sometimes. So for now the server will stay as 1.7.3 until they update it again, which shouldn't be too long.

If you REALLY need to get on the server, below is a link to the 1.7.3 files that I uploaded. Just extract the ZIP to your .minecraft folder.

To get to your .minecraft folder:
Win7/Vista: Start -> type %appdata% -> Enter -> Open .mincraft -> Extract ZIP here.
XP: Start -> Run -> type %appdata% -> Click OK -> Open .mincraft -> Extract ZIP here.
