New server idea

Oh,ok lol.
Got some answers from the dedicated server's forum.

I installed the game twice, restarted steam and even my computer multiple times, and even got a fresh download. Everything was done exactly as instructed; however, when I attempt to launch from my library or from the desktop shortcut, not even an hl2.exe process shows up. defuq?

You need to download and install the source sdk base 2007 files. You can find those under "tools" in your steam.

If it still not working,then register and ask the question there .
There will surely be more and better answers than here.

OMG, this is like the Team Fortress 2 mode called... Errr... Can't remember, BUT IT'S THE SAME.
OMG I LOVED IT

Zombie mode.
I played this on ps3 with the orange box, was just epic.

Nooo, no zombies were there.
It was like, every round you are a thing, and you need to hide and the Pryros look for you

Yep, PropHunt. we ran that on a TF2 server for a while... no one joined.

What about Nick's gameserver hosting thing? Is it linux-only too?

Im not gonna go out of my way to host a server on a game that most people dont have. You can say its popular, but w/e, its a mod and its not available directly on steam so most players will not or can not install it. If the developer will not compile a Linux version of the server, then i will not host it.
