You have to read how to request unban.
Can't he fill out a form and post unban request on his own?
Any reason you are doing it for him?

Ant told me for a few days ago that he wasn't banned. I also told him to check if he was whitelisted but I got no answer on that...

Correct. He is NOT banned and he IS whitelisted. So if he can't login, that's his problem.
