deathrun_texture_extreme_hl2 (2nd version released)
This map was tried before and crashed (Too much entdata) but now I fixed it all up. Great Dev map and you all should try it out sometime. Took about 5-6 hours to do.

Yes. But I converted it from scratch again from a beta version. The version you used I think had a problem. Even a person posted an issue about the version.

I downloaded a different version and converted it. Also the map was fine it just had too much ent_data or something like that. Which means too much light.
Ant also said he would fix it but he never did so now I think you wasted 5-6 hours for nothing pretty much when there was a ready version waiting to be fixed just by deleting some lights which would of taken 20 min?

At the end of the day, the map is on the server. Lets not fight about this.

I am not, but the thing is I wasted like 7-9 hours converting that map + I did more stuff to it.

Re: New Map Released: deathrun_texture_extreme_hl2
Listen, you converted this 1-2 months ago. You had more than enough time to convert/fix it up on your own. Honestly, unless I'm reading your posts incorrectly, I think you are being quite rude. It is not our problem to fix your map that you convert (this goes to everyone). Ant has spent about 3 hours in fixing your map and it stilled never worked. You had all this time and you, yourself, never tried to fix it up on your own.
So don't say, "I think I will just stop making maps for this community D: No one likes my maps", its cause nothing worked! You cannot put the blame on us for not fixing your mistakes. You should of fixed yours yourself and tested it on your own server on your computer and then sent it to us.
And I bet, if you decided to fix your own map, it will take you MORE then 5-6 hours cause you won't even know what the error is (I don't know the error myself) Trust me, we looked at your map quite a long time before I than decided to start from the beginning.
There is no other community out there, that will fix up a person's map. Most people just assume a maps good and then just put it out on the server. With all of the experience Ant and I know about SDK, you would think we could figure this one out but we didn't (This is the only time this has happened)
To bring up another point, I believe Ant spent a great time in helping you with RockRun.

Re: New Map Released: deathrun_texture_extreme_hl2
I released a 2nd version due to a problem in one of the traps. It was nearly impossible lol.
I also lowered damage on some other traps to make it a little easier. The mine trap is still there, it is possible, you just have to figure out which way to go (You walk over landmines, if you hit them, they explode - there are markings on the ground).
The map name is called deathrun_texture_extreme_v2. Can't be called deathrun_texture_extreme_v2_hl2 because the map name is to long.
Enjoy. You should be able to get to the end!!

We need more maps like texture extreme. It's one of my favorites.
